i have an apple tree that i want grafted. How much will it cost me to have someone come out and do the job?

Edith, your best bet is to get a local landscaping contractor out there to do the job for you.
Be sure to hire a landscaping contractor who does this for a living, and not a guy off the street, for obvious liability reasons.
